On Thursday 26th May, 5th & 6th enjoyed a trip to Dublin, visiting Croke Park and doing the Skydium Tour ( Skyline & Stadium ) and also going to Dublin Zoo. The Skydium tour was very enjoyable and with favourable weather conditions, the children enjoyed spectacular views of the Dublin City landmarks from the Skyline. We also had a tour of the Stadium - visiting the Dressing rooms, Press Room and got to stand out at the pitch.
After lunch, we headed to the Zoo, where we met 1st - 4th classes after their trip to Dublin Castle for the RSA Awards ceremony. We, firstly engaged in a Workshop about 'African Adventures', where we learned all about the habitats, feeding patterns and human impact on the African animals in the Zoo.
Below are a few photos from our trip - our first tour since the pandemic!
Thank you to our bus company , Joe Moore, and to the Parents' Committee who subsidised the trip.
